The actor will soon be seen on Colors’ popular show!
Popular TV actor, Hiten Tejwani has been roped in to play a crucial role in the new track of Balika Vadhu. The actor will be seen essaying the role of Anant, a handsome, rich man in his early forties who is unfortunately in an extremely troubled marriage. Originally, a doctor by profession, Anant shifts to business on being pressurised by his wife as she was unhappy with their financial status. Hard working as he is, Anant does achieve great heights as a businessman but his wife’s attitude to put monetary gains above everything else causes their relation to turn bitter. Now to prevent their daughter from getting affected by the hatred between her parents, Anant send her to Shiv Niketan.
Remember a few weeks ago, the makers introduced us to a young girl, Nidhi, who came to Shiv Niketan to study. However, her arrogance caused her a sever punishment from Anandi (Toral Rasputra) and her mother was called. The drama ended with Nidhi apologising and requesting Anandi to take her back in. But the one thing no one knew was what urged Nidhi to leave her arrogance aside and apologise… it was her hatred towards her parents and the fact that she did not want to go back home. Now we know why!
Anandi will now begin to understand that Nidhi’s family problems are the cause of her bitterness and she finally decides to intervene. She calls her father and fixes a meeting with him. That’s how Anant and Anandi come face to face.
Talking about being part of the show, Hiten said, “Balika Vadhu has become a household favourite and getting an opportunity to join the cast is wonderful. I will be playing a man who is a father of Anandi’s favorite student but also a character who is striving to change his life for the better. My own family has been very ecstatic especially my wife and in-laws too who are avid followers of the show that I was going to be part of the show. I am very hopeful for the audience to see the role of Anant and hope they enjoy it as much as I do.”
