Finite series, web-series and short films, a certain section of the TV industry seems to be keen to break out of the monotonous. Actors Aasiya Kazi and Gulshan Nain will be seen together in a short film. The interesting part is that they’re rumored to be love-birds in real life. The two have not spoken about their relationship so far but it’s known in the industry that they are a couple.
The two were last seen on Box Cricket League. Talking about her new project, Aasiya said, “Everyone fall in love or get married with certain expectations and some of them have dealt with the disappointment of unmet expectations.” She has earlier done shows like Bandini, Na Bole Maine Tumne Kuch Kaha, Hitler Didi and Balika Vadhu. It is her act of Santo in Bandini that’s best remembered by fans.
Talking further on the project, she said, “This short film will highlight the expectations versus reality in the relationship. Instead of focusing on unmet or unspoken expectations, which lead to the eventual unraveling of the relationship, we should accept the fact that relationships are not always rainbows and butterflies.”
Recently, Gulshan’s brilliant performance in web series titled ‘All About Section 377’ has won him accolades from one and all. “Last year, my friend Amit Khanna wrote this story and I took an impromptu decision to produce it. The untitled short film is now under post production and we are planning to release it on the web,” said Gulshan, who was last seen in Channel V’s ‘Friends Conditions Apply’.
