Badshah talks about his latest song ‘Mercy,’ Yo Yo Honey Singh, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and more – watch exclusive video

BollywoodLife Exclusively got in touch with Badshah and we talked about his latest single, Mercy. While talking about the song, he told me how the song is completely different from what he has been doing so far, especially his independent songs. He also joked about the amount of money spent on this particular song. Interestingly it is one of the only songs to be shot entirely at famous O2 arena in London. He also told me how they had to book the whole of airbase to shoot few of the scenes. For those unaware, the song Mercy is a part of Badshah’s album, O.N.E. and talking about it, he said contrary to what has been the case with his albums and singles in the past, this one consists of mainly sad songs with only one or two party tracks.

The candid conversation then went onto touch several topics from his proximity with Yo Yo Honey Singh, to the lack of it. We also spoke about his title track in Shivay which was again a drastic change from what he has done so far. He told me he is very thankful to music director Mithoon as he is a fan of his work. He also revealed that the song was important for him as it was Ajay Devgn’s dream project and how he is thankful to the entire team.
