SS Rajamouli’s epic Baahubali hit theatres on July 10. After receiving great reviews from critics and response from the audience the film is now inching closer to the Rs 400 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film created a record of all sorts when it made Rs 50 crore at the box office on its opening day.
The film starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati is one of the most expensive films made so far. About Rs 250 crore has been spent on the historic epic. The makers will soon begin working on the second installment of Baahubali. So far the Hindi version of Baahubali has minted Rs 73.15 crore. Baahubali has been applauded for its stunning visual effects and the technique use to present the master-piece.
After minting over Rs 215 crore in five days, Baahubali has now becoming the highest grossing Telugu film. While most films struggle to touch Rs 100 crore mark, Baahubali entered the Rs 200 crore club in 5 days. In just such a short period, Rajamouli’s war saga has minted Rs 215 crore worldwide. In South, the Tamil as well as Telugu versions of the film has set cash registers jingling and taken the total worldwide record to Rs 385 crore as of now.
