Avengers: Infinity War receives a thunderous response, registers 90 to 100 percent occupancy in the morning shows

As expected, Marvel’s latest superhero flick, Avengers: Infinity War opened with a humongous response at the theatres. The film has registered around 90 to 100 percent occupancy in the morning shows. Remember, it has released on a normal working Friday, which means the film was undoubtedly the highly-anticipated venture of the year.

Talking about the occupancy of the film, trade expert Akshaye Rathi said, “The response is insane, every single cinema that’s playing it, is anywhere between 90 to 100 percent and it’s only going to get better by the evening.” He also added that it will be highest Hollywood opener in the Indian market. “The record for the highest opening for a Hollywood film will be shattered and shattered by a mile. Rs 20 crore day 1 is definite, how far it goes beyond that is something will have to wait till the evening to see.” The film opened with magnificent numbers in the single screens as well. “Everywhere, it has opened like insanity, it’s a complete Tsunami at the box office.” (Also Read: Avengers: Infinity War box office collection: The superhero film earns Rs 29 crore through advance ticket sales, as per early estimates)
