Sridevi is dead and that’s a truth that we will have to live with now. She has already begun her last journey. The actress will be cremated at 3:30 pm. The vehicle which will take her mortal remains to the cremation ground has been decorated with flowers for her final journey. It’s such an emotional time for the family who are together in this hour of grief. ANI has posted a picture of everyone from the family taking one last look at the woman who has inspired not only them but millions of people. Sridevi is wrapped in the tricolour. It’s so heartbreaking to come to terms with the fact that the person lying there is Sridevi. The woman was with us a few days ago, promising us good movies that we can watch on the big screens. Now she is no more. We won’t be able to see her on the big screen again and that’s making us choke. Personally speaking, I am finding it difficult to write this article looking at the picture. She was an integral part of my growing up years as I am a huge movie buff and now she is gone. It’s so unbelievable that my hands are shaking while writing it. Sridevi will be cremated with state honours. She is in her favourite Kanjeevaram saree for her last journey. The family dealt with a lot of things in last couple of days and now we hope, she will rest in peace.
