Ankit Tiwari’s concert Generation Next held in 7 major cities across the USA received tremendous response. Ankit, who has several hit songs to his credit, rocked in front of a packed audience at shows held at renowned theaters including McFlair Theatre (Dallas), Arena Theatre (Houston), Ritz Theatre (New Jersey), Watner Theatre (Washington DC), Odeum Expo Centre (Chicago), Lowell Memorial auditorium (Boston) and Terrace Theatre (Los Angeles).
The show also witnessed popular Bollywood singers Akriti Kakkar and Shilpa Rao who ably supported Ankit. While Akriti and Shilpa opened the show, it was Ankit who walked away with the maximum applause and whistles.
Ankit made a spectacular entry on stage singing Sun Raha Hai Na Tu (Aashiqui 2) followed by another chartbuster Tu Hai Ke Nahi (Roy). Ankit later surprised the audience by performing on a medley of AR Rahman songs in his own inimitable style. The moment Ankit started crooning his most popular number Teri Galiyaan (Ek Villain) the entire auditorium joined him and started singing along with him that concluded the musical gala. Going by Ankit’s popularity, the show organisers are quite keen to organise a new show soon.
