Oh no! Alia Bhatt injured on the sets of Brahmastra in Bulgaria, may return to Mumbai

Alia Bhatt, who was shooting for her upcoming film, Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor in Bulgaria fell in the sets and injured her right arm and shoulder, according to a report in DNA. She has reportedly been advised bed rest and may not be able to work for 15 days. “The team was shooting for a scene when Alia fell and hurt herself. She has injured her right shoulder and arm. There’s a clot on her arm, so she has been advised bed rest. She is in a lot of pain. Her right arm is bandaged and held up in a sling, so she can’t exert it or her shoulder for the next 15 days.” So will Alia return to Mumbai? There is no clarity on that as of now.

This is the first schedule of Brahmastra and the team was supposed to wrap up the shoot and return to India by the end of this month. But now with Alia’s injury, the team is looking for other options. “In the current scenario, Alia can’t film any stunt sequences. She can only shoot for close-up scenes and the team is checking if they would need any right now,” the source was further quoted. The team of the film confirmed about the incident to the daily. Alia recently celebrated her 25th birthday with the cast and crew of Brahmastra in Bulgaria. Her ‘friend like family’ and director of the film, Ayan Mukerji ensured to make it special by organizing a lovely dinner for her. A picture from the dinner made its way to social media. While Ranbir was not there in the photo, his mom, Neetu Kapoor joined the party. Not to mention, Neetu Kapoor even posted a cutesy birthday wish for Alia by sharing a candid picture with a caption saying, “Birthday girl in her own world #brahmastra@aliaabhatt #ranbirkapoor,”. We pray that Alia gets well soon and resumes shooting. We know that she is a fighter and she won’t let this injury become a major roadblock. Brahmastra also stars TV actress, Mouni Roy, who is playing an antagonist in the movie. Brahmastra will be a trilogy and is being produced under Dharma Productions.
