Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt‘s film with Ayan Mukerji is one of the few exciting films announced that we are eager to know about. Though it was tentatively titled as Dragon, looks like producer Karan Johar (Dharma Productions) has decided to change the title of the film. According to a report in DNA After Hrs, the name of Ayan Mukerji’s next has now been changed to Brahmastra. It is a Sanskrit word that signifies a very powerful astra or weapon that has been created by Brahma (The creator god). The Brahmastra was such a powerful weapon that it never missed its mark. It could be used against an individual enemy or army with a very specific intent as the target would be completely destroyed. With the Ranbir – Alia starrer being a big-budget superhero trilogy, we think the title is quite apt as we expect it to set the box office on fire when it releases next year. (ALSO READ – Oh No! According to a recent report in India Today, the budget of the movie has been cut down too. With the failure of Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos, Karan Johar got wary of the film’s box office returns and hence, they decided to reduce the budget. With the pre-production of the film nearly complete, we expect Brahmastra to hit the floors by the end of the year. It should then release by the end of 2018 or 2019 start.
