Ajay made his acting debut at the age of 15 with the 1985 film Meri Behna. Six years later, he marked his entry as a hero in Phool Aur Kaante. The movie won him his first Filmfare Award. Today, in a career spanning over two decades, Ajay has worked in numerous films and portrayed some fabulous characters. His memorable performances in films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Khakee, Lajja, Company, Yuva, Omkara and Singham have earned him both adulation and appreciation in equal measures. His versatility and exceptional acting skills have won him two National Awards-the first for Zakhm and second award for The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.
