Kabootar ja ja ja….
Pigeons have a deeper meaning in India and its culture. They were the first messengers as they used to take them from one place to another. Times changed and their work got more and more limited. In the 80s-90s Bollywood, they were the ones who used to pass love messages between two people in love or more precisely, heroes and heroines. Kabootar ja ja ja was the favourite way of instructing these pigeons. Salman Khan definitely can claim credit for this and now it seems, his ex Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finds pigeons handy. We have a still from the Sarbjit of the actress cooing to a pigeon which instantly reminded us of Salman from Maine Pyaar Kiya! Some inspiration we must say.
This still has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan holding a pigeon in her hands looking really ravishing. As Dalbir Kaur, she is looking stunning. But the pose took us back to 1989 when Salman Khan became friends with a pigeon who got him the answer he was looking for in Maine Pyaar Kiya. The song Kabootar ja ja became a rage and we wonder if this picture of Aishwarya is also part of a song in the film.

It would be unfair to credit just Salman with it because Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek Bachchan too was in the august company of a pigeon and so did Sonam Kapoor. Remember Masakali?
