We are sure that you will never forget the way Tulsi (Smriti Irani) introduced the whole family. From opening the door to performing the garba with her family, the show’s title track was iconic. Thus, on the completion of 18 years of the show, the makers made a clip with their content czarina Ekta Kapoor to pay a tribute to this show.
Dressed in a saree like Tulsi, Ekta is seen climbing the stairs of a temple and seeking blessings from the goddess. They also used the title track of the show as the background music of the clip. The way Ekta said namaste and welcomed viewers, will surely remind you of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show majorly contributed to the making of the TV czarina. Ekta shared many pictures on the landmark occasion. Among the many, she shared a throwback picture of Smriti, where she wrote, “A star unimaginable from a relatively new medium was born.” In her post, Smriti thanked Ekta Kapoor for believing in her “when no one wanted to take a chance.” Indeed the show made Smriti a household name and her stint as Tulsi had become all the rage during that time.
