Refugee

Abhishek debuted in this film as the Refugee who helps people cross the borders between India and Pakistan. The film portrayed how the two countries are constantly at war and how he gets blamed for helping terrorists. But how the actor joins the security force and gets back his lover, Kareena Kapoor back to India forms the rest of the film. The actor made an impressive debut with this film.

Om Jai Jagadish

The actor plays the role of Jagadish, a hacker, in the film. The three loving brothers separate coz of a few differences, however they reunite to bid for their home. Though Jr Bachchan had a short role, it was a powerful one.

The Dhoom franchise has one constant character, that of ACP Jai Dixit who foils the big robbery. The actor’s part was really amazing and we still can’t stop thinking about his performance. We just cant think of the Dhoom franchise without Abhishek.

Bunty Aur Babli

This was one of his bestest films ever. The actor played a conman which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. His hilarious instincts, masti and smart portrayal in this film made it a good watch.

This was the first time Abhishek took up a political film. He played Amitabh Bachchan’s son in the film which was based on politics. The film was a huge hit and critically acclaimed too. Abhishek was quite convincing in the role he played.

Bluffmaster!

This was one of the most hilarious films of Abhishek’s career. AB Jr played a conman again who falls in love with Simran Saxena (Priyanka Chopra). When she comes to know that he is con man, she dumps him. He tries to get her back and that’s when the fun begins. The biggest con game begins.

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

AB’s role in this film was very limited but it was one of the key films of his career. The story revolves around the troubled marriages of Ab Jr, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan. How they deal with it and what happens eventually forms the rest of the story. Ab’s performance as a frustrated husband was really commendable.

Dhoom 2

Abhishek played ACP Jai Dixit in the second film of the Dhoom franchise. This was one of the best films of the year and one of the biggest hits in AB Jr’s career. His tough cop role was really cool and everyone wanted to be a cop like him after this film.

Guru

This might just be the best film of Abhishek’s career. He played the role loosely based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani (who became the richest man in India). The actor’s role inspired many to work hard towards their goal and his portrayal of such a powerful character got him many awards.

Dostana

Abhishek and John’s Dostana made us laugh like crazy. The two wanted to rent a fabulous apartment, but it was available only for girls. So the two think to act as a gay couple to get the house. However, when owner Priyanka Chopra walks in, they both fall for her. But she feels that they are gay and so falling for them isn’t an option. What follows will made us ROFL. Ab Jr’s gay act was really hilarious and we loved it to the core.

The actor’s role in this film was about growing up in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. This film was really amazing and we loved the actor’s realistic act.

Paa

Bachchan played one of biggest politicians of India in India, however he did not know that he was also the father of a child having Progeria (Amitabh Bachchan). The actor had left his wife, but he didn’t know that she was pregnant at that time. How AB Jr and Amitabh meet in the film, how they bond and how the star realises his mistakes in the film forms the rest of the story. Abhishek’s emotional journey was very realistic and we really enjoyed this film.

Dum Maro Dum

The actor played the role of a cop in Dum Maro Dum, which was based on the drug abuse in Goa. His action scenes and his tough cop role was something you couldn’t miss.

Bol Bachchan

Abhishek’s humorous role in this film was the highlight of the film, which made him one of the best comic artistes ever.

Dhoom 3

Abhishek again portrayed the role of ACP Jai Dixit in Dhoom 3 and with Aamir joining the franchise, the one went on to become the biggest ones of the franchise. It was the highest grosser ever of the year and his part was again very pivotal.

Happy New Year

While this was a SRK-Deepika film primarily, Abhishek’s hilarious act was the highlight of the film. People enjoyed Happy New Year mostly coz of Ab Jr and we would love to see him do more such roles now.
