Sanjay Dutt released the trailer of his comeback film Bhoomi today on his daughter Trishala’s birthday. It was indeed a special occasion as the actor was accompanied by Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra (the Dutt biopic team). Looks like Sanjay decided to add a little more star power to his event. At this do we heard a special message from the actor’s daughter who was elated that her daddy chose her birthday for his big moment. Looks like Trishala and Sanjay’s relationship would only add more mileage to Bhoomi‘s promotions. And while the trailer itself would be a treat to Baba fans we have 11 stills from the film’s trailer that came out that show Baba is indeed back…
If Vaastav has been hailed for his action avatar. But with Bhoomi, Dutt captures an audience that’s sucker for emotional drama. The film revolves around Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjay Dutt’s father-daughter relationship. We will see the actor play an ageing father and his fight with the baddies who ruin his daughter’s life. Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Aamir Khan’s PK, where the 80-90’s star had a cameo. Before that in the year 2013 the actor was arrested in the 1993 Bombay Blasts case. Dutt served his term and went in and out of the jail on parole several times. While many believed that Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai MBBS 3 would be his return to the silver screen, it is Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi that became the first film to release after his brief break from the industry.
