Mallika Sherawat’s hot number Laila for Priyadarshan’s Tezz is beginning to look like a never-ending saga. The latest buzz we hear is that Jiah Khan was apparently the first choice to do a sexy number, apart from Sameera Reddy, who is already a part of the film. However, none of the two gals could do it and hence it was finally filmed with Mallika Sherawat. But Priyadarshan is not at all happy with the way things have turned out.
Apparently Mallika had sweet talked producer Ratan Jain into casting her for the item song and it was decided that she would do the song for a nominal fee and publicise it optimally. But guess, the director wasn’t too convinced about it. While some birdies say that Priyadarshan was absent during the shoot of the song, others claim that nothing was done without his consent. Amidst all this hullabaloo Priyadarshan continues to remain mum. And guess only time will tell the actual fate of the item number.
