Buzz is that Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil has been accused to be a copy of Hollywood’s famous TV show, Daredevil. Mumbai Mirror carried this report stating how American streaming and production giant Netflix is already planning to sue the Sanjay Gupta directorial for plagiarising one of their originals. In fact, they even quoted a source who elaborated on the case saying, “Protagonists of both the productions are blind while even the action sequences look the same. The colour schemes are also similar. This has upset Netflix and they will be taking legal action against Rakesh Roshan’s FilmKraft Productions and Sanjay Gupta’s White Feature Films.”
However, a source close to Team Kaabil EXCLUSIVELY clarifies that these speculations are completely baseless coz firstly – Kaabil is NOT a superhero film and secondly, it boasts an all together different plot which is nowhere close to Daredevil. Add to that, Netflix hasn’t even sent any legal notice to Team Kaabil as yet. No wonder Sanjay Gupta is so unfazed by these reports as he was recently quoted saying, “It’s a preposterous comparison because Hrithik is not a superhero in Kaabil. His character is that of a blind man who does what he does the best. In daredevil, the protagonist fights 30 people at a time. None of that is happening in Kaabil. If they sue us, we will definitely fight back.”

Incidentally, just yesterday Shah Rukh Khan had cracked a three-year deal with Netflix and we all know how SRK and Hrithik have been warring against each other due to the Raees Vs Kaabil clash.
