Finally we have an official picture of Jhanvi Kapoor with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya as they arrived together at the Dear Zindagi screening last night. Yes, this happened! Can you believe it? Despite rumours which suggested mom Sridevi has issued a ‘no boyfriend’ policy for Jhanvi, Shikhar was seen accompanying the entire Kapoor family for the screening last night, seated right next to Jhanvi and Sridevi in the car. Now if this doesn’t confirm their ‘official’ relationship status then I dunno what will….
In fact, this picture also proves how Jhanvi doesn’t care a damn about what’s being perceived out of her right now. I mean, usually when you are set to make your Bollywood debut, you would obviously want your personal life to take a back seat and get discussed only for your looks and appearances. Take for instance Jhanvi’s contemporary Sara who is conveniently just making one hot appearance after another, without really letting her personal life out in the open. That reminds us of Jhanvi and Shikhar’s first kissing picture that had gone viral; remember the one which almost broke the internet?
However, just so that you know, the kissing picture isn’t the only one that’s doing the rounds on the internet. Break into Instagram, Twitter or even google them for that matter and you will find tons of pictures of Jhanvi posing all lovey-dovey and mushy with Shikhar. With this official picture adding on to Jhanvi and Shikhar’s memory book, we wonder if it’s an official way to announce that ‘yes we’re together and that too with family’s acceptance’
For all the ignorant, Shikhar is Sushil Kumar Shinde’s grandson, who is basically from Delhi but has done his schooling in Mumbai from Dhirubhai Ambani International School and Bombay Scottish School. For further studies he went abroad to London and has done graduation from Regent’s University London. Like his grandfather he also has a keen interest in politics. A fan of the TV series Entourage Shikhar plays Polo, and has been a part of Royal Jaipur Polo team and has even represented Indian in Berkshire Polo Club London back in 2013. No wonder he caught the eye of the gorgeous Jhanvi.
