An angry Salim Khan RANTS against Salman haters on Twitter – check out tweets!

It’s sad how the tag of being ‘controversy’s favourite child’ just doesn’t seem to spare Salman Khan. I mean, unlike previous instances, this time Salman actually made sense when he backed Pakistani artists saying, “They were artists, not terrorists, these are two different subjects. What you think? That artists are terrorists? They come with valid visa, who provides them with visa? our Government, our govt provides them work permit.” While Twitteratis stood divided slamming the actor for supporting Pakistani actors. We even got to see politicians like Raj Thackrey lashing out at Salman for being so inclined towards Pakistan than India. In fact, several popular news channels had this whole programme dedicated to Salman’s statement urging renowned artists to debate and state their say on Salman. Like you know what we mean? The whole controversy which ideally should have been centered around ‘banning Pakistani artists’ quickly narrowed down to Salman’s statement coz after all, who doesn’t consider him as a soft target? However, while Salman might turn deaf ear to this whole backlash. His father Salim Khan is not here to take the wrath of haters; especially when he knows his son and all the other stars backing Pakistani actors have done no wrong in stating their opinion.

Taking up to Twitter, Salim Khan lashed out at a news channel for considering Salman’s statement as a national news over the terrorists who are actually to be accused for our nation’s loss. He wrote, “Breaking news Saeed, Lakhvi & Masood replaced by Salman Khan Mahesh Bhatt Karan Johar & Yechury on the most wanted list of Times Now as these people are a big threat to the unity of our country. Take heart gentlemen at least you are in the job of entertaining people. Rather than in a job of shouting screaming hurting & humiliating people.  Mr Yechury careful, talking of peace will make you a traitor. Mr Bhatt our country has no dearth of intense and dramatic actors on TV then why look across the border.”

Clearly, Salim Khan is being sarcastic and wants all you Salman haters to know that the real issue is NOT what Salman thinks but what’s happening across the borders. Are we banning Salman or are we banning Pakistani actors? Is everyone getting so involved in the fuss that we’re losing the plot? Tell us what are your thoughts about Salim Khan’s Twitter rant and we’ll be back with more updates on this hot story.
