It’s time for one most talented actors from the Kollywood industry to step into Hollywood. Yes, that’s right. Dhanush will commence shooting for his debut Hollywood project – The Extraordinary Journey Of A Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard starting January 2017! “The project was supposed to start much earlier, but got postponed due to some reasons. Dhanush will join the sets of the film from January,” revealed a source to a leading daily. The film is based on a novel by the same title. The film also stars Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario. Well, it’s finally happening and it can’t better than this! The project will be directed by Iranian filmmaker Marjane Satrapi. Well, honestly, however grand this venture may be, this is just one of the awesome things happening with Dhanush at the moment.

Along with his Hollywood debut, he is set to make his directorial debut with Power Pandi. The film stars Rajkiran, Prasanna and Chaya Singh. He took to social media to reveal the first look recently and also announce of his directorial debut. People from the industry were elated over the news. From the first look poster, the movie probably will be about a bike trip. And then there was his announcement of producing Rajinikanth’s next film with Kabali director. Yes, the superstar and Pa Ranjith are collaborating again, and this time Wunderbar, Dhanush’s production house will be rolling in the money. The dream combo is finally happening and everyone is already speculating about what the story is going to be about. For now, we know it’s definitely not going to be Kabali’s sequel.
Apart from all this, Dhanush is currently shooting for Vetrimaran’s Vada Chennai trilogy. The movie also stars Amala Paul. The movie is about 30 years in the life of gangster. Then he has Kodi coming up this Diwali. He will be playing a never seen before double role. He’s playing twins, one of which is a teacher and the other is a politician. Interestingly, he will have three looks in the movie. He also has Thodari opposite Keerthy Suresh coming up. After a series of postponed dates, the movie is all set to release onSeptember 23. The movie is about an adventurous train ride from Delhi to Chennai. It’s love story along with being an actioner.
