Prakash Raj’s ambitious trilingual set for June 6 release

The actor-director has finalised on June 6 to avoid unnecessary clash with Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan

Actor Prakash Raj, known for his acting nuances, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The Gillie actor recently had a scuffle with the director of Aagadu, which almost got him banned from Tollywood. Now the actor has something to smile about as his trilingual movie is set to hit the screens on June 6.

The film made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada will see Prakash Raj in dual role of actor as well as the director. With the music composed by musical maestro Ilayaraja, the film titled as Un Samayal Arayil in Tamil, Ulavacharu Biriyani in Telugu and Oggarane in Kannada also stars Sneha,Urvashi and Samyuktha in important roles. The excited actor tweeted “Hi. Our trilingual to be served from 6-6-2014… Love this journey. I promise a wonderful film. Trusting your support”.

The film is said to be remake of Malayalam flick Salt N Pepper. The producers are hoping that fan frenzy surrounding the superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan would have toned down, which would help their films cause. It looks like Prakash Raj, who has always suffered the backlash for his harsh remarks, does not want to take chance with Kochadaiiyaan’s wrath and has decided to release the film two weeks after the superstar’s much awaited animated outing.

Prakash Raj, known for creating meaningful cinema, is taking a big gamble by making a trilingual flick sans stars. Would his gamble pay off? So who’s up for some Prakash Raj brand of movie?
