Abhay Deol and Dibakar Banerjee were spotted making an appearance at the premiere of their film, Shanghai at the festival
While Abhay Deol looked dapper in semi formals, director Dibakar Banerjee was in his usual bespectacled self. The duo were busy hobnobbing with film enthusiasts and interacting with the audience at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012. And with Abhay and Dibakar taking control of the mike, we are sure the session at the fest must have been quite a stimulating one. Ten films from Mumbai will be showcased at TIFF this year, and Gangs Of Wasseypur, Ishaqzaade and Peddlers are likely to be hot-picks at the event.
Held from September 6 to September 16, 2012, the festival will see a big Bollywood presence at Toronto this time. The cast of Midnight’s Children- Shahana Goswami, Seema Biswas and Shikha Talsania were seen posing for the paparazzi along with director Deepa Mehta. Abhay and Dibakar have taken the initiative to talk about their film Shanghai at the event. We wait to see who we spot next at this prestigious film festival.
