After a powerful performance in Mom, Everyone was just waiting for Sridevi to sign her next film. Soon enough, she made her fans happy by saying something good is coming soon. But now everything is gone. With her death, all our hopes of ever seeing her in a film are gone. The project we are talking about is rumoured to be the sequel of English Vinglish. When the film clocked 5 years, Sridevi shared a picture of herself with Gauri Shinde captioning it ‘Coming Soon’. Of course people jumped to the idea of a sequel to English Vinglish. Later a source informed Mid-day, “Sridevi indicated that a collaboration is in the offing when the film completed five years last month. She shared a picture of Gauri and her, and wrote, ‘Coming Soon’. They were supposed to come together for a woman-centric light-hearted comedy earlier, but the story was not fully developed. So they shifted their focus to the sequel.” Check out the tweet right here…

When Sridevi was asked about it at an event, she said, “It’s too early to talk about it. There’s something happening. We will talk about it when things are concrete.” So if not the sequel, something definitely was in the offing.
