Last year didn’t end on a good note for ace comedian and actor Kapil Sharma. With his show taking a break and his debut film production Firangi, in which he played the lead role, getting thrashed at the box office, Kapil is going through a low phase. But here is a piece of good news! Cheer up fans because the star is soon coming back to the small screen on Sony TV, next month. Kapil will be shooting for the promo of his new show today.
According to reports in The Indian Express, a source revealed, “Sony TV and Kapil recently had a meeting and discussed on the comeback of the show. With Kapil now fit and fine, he is raring to go, and entertain his audience in his own inimitable style. The promo that is being shot today would be just an announcement, and a full-fledged one would be shot after the creatives are finalised. The show is expected to launch by end of March.” That is exciting news indeed. But the sad part is Sunil Grover won’t be coming back. The source added, “No, Sunil is not coming back. The remaining cast of The Kapil Sharma Show will be part of the series while there can be some new addition also. The title of the show has also not being finalized. But Kapil and the makers are working hard to make this a bigger and better project.” Well, the fans are surely excited by the news. For the people who don’t know, Kapil was involved in a brawl and had hurled a shoe at Sunil. When Sunil walked out of the show, Sugandha Mishra, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also decided to step out.
While the movie failed to work wonders for Kapil, he has high hopes from his upcoming show.
